
Carleen Bentley is a Clinical Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor, artist, and an academic. Carleen offers psychotherapy services through her private practice: Halfway Tree Therapy Ltd. She is also available for work via corporate partners (see client tab), public speaking engagements, event appearances, academic tutoring, workshops, and more.
Education and Expertise
Following the completion of her Clinical Supervision qualification at SPTI, Carleen has continued to develop a strong academic and clinical foundation. She holds a distinction level MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy and, in 2023, completed a distinction level MA in Psychosocial Studies at Birkbeck, University of London.
Carleen brings extensive experience across relational and integrative approaches to psychotherapy, combining clinical expertise, academic knowledge and lived experience to tailor therapy and supervision to the individual needs of each person she works with.
Alongside her clinical practice, Carleen has worked in higher education as a guest lecturer at Birkbeck, University of London and as a lecturer at SPTI. She has also contributed articles to SPTI’s Contact Magazine, reflecting her ongoing engagement with psychotherapy, psychosocial thinking and professional practice.
